What is LED?

LED stands for “light-emitting diodes”, and these beneficial light rays provide fantastic benefits for your skin. Using a combination of red, blue, and infrared light, these wavelengths are absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin, energizing the dermal tissue and stimulating our skin cells' natural regeneration cycle. LED is UV-free, painless, and non-invasive.  Great for all skin types and conditions.  Continuous use of LED is recommended for the best results.
There are both immediate and cumulative benefits after an LED treatment, including:

  •  Reduces wrinkle depth and fine lines

  •  Increases health of collagen and elastin

  •  Minimizes appearance of pores

  •  Increases cell oxygenation

  •  Temporary “plumping” effect

  •  Lifts and tones the skin

  •  Gives a radiant glow

  •  Kills acne-causing bacteria

What is Microcurrent?

Microcurrent is a gentle electrical current that mimics our bodies' own electrical impulses to lift, firm, tone, and tighten facial tissue without any invasive or painful procedures.  Microcurrent works by re-educating our facial muscles, think of it like exercise for the face. Aging skin is rejuvenated, and it's also a wonderful preventative treatment for younger skin.  Results are cumulative, so multiple treatments are recommended for best results.   Microcurrent is beneficial for all skin types and conditions.

You may not receive Microcurrent if any of the following conditions apply:

  • If you are pregnant

  • Have had heart surgery in the past year

  • Have a pacemaker, metal implants or screws

  • Recent facial operation or procedure (Botox, Juvederm, etc.)

  • All forms of “active” cancer (ok with a note from your doctor - No if on chemo or radiation)

  • Epilepsy, Diabetes, Heart Condition

  • Use of Retin-A (discontinue use three weeks prior to treatment)

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation that removes up to 3 weeks worth of dead skin as well as vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. This is a safe and painless way to exfoliate the outermost layer of skin, making it especially beneficial for dry, rough skin types; as well as being a good alternative for people who are sensitive to chemical peels.  Please stop all use of Retinol products at least 4 weeks before treatment.  Great for all skin types except for cystic acne and advanced rosacea.   (Cannot be performed if you are currently on Accutane, must have stopped using at least 6 months prior.)
